answer text <p>A range of approaches are in place to help diagnose people living with HIV as early as possible. The Government has mandated local authorities in England to commission comprehensive open access sexual health services, including free sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment. All parts of the country provide access to different HIV testing options such as HIV self- sampling services, or community HIV testing activities.</p><p> </p><p>The National Health Service continues to provide world class treatment and care for people living with HIV. In 2017, 92% people living with HIV infection in the United Kingdom were diagnosed, 98% of people diagnosed were receiving treatment and 97% of people receiving treatment were virally suppressed.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The management of hoax calls is the responsibility of individual National Health Service ambulance trusts.</p><p> </p><p>The West Midlands Ambulance Service advises hoax callers of the seriousness of their actions and the risks posed to others. If repeated, callers will be referred to the relevant Police Force. The Trust has also undertaken media campaigns to highlight the risks that hoax calls pose.</p> more like this

This study concluded that greater capacity, as measured by appointments per patient, may be associated with higher coverage in children. answer text <p>The World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) is delivering the FCTC 2030 project, including supporting fifteen low and middle-income countries to accelerate the implementation of the WHO FCTC. Implementation of the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products, including tobacco track and trace systems, is not a specific area of focus for the FCTC 2030 project. However, several FCTC 2030 countries have joined the Protocol. The Secretariat of the WHO FCTC is encouraging all countries that are Parties to the WHO FCTC to also join the Protocol.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Through ‘Childhood obesity: a plan for action, Chapter 2’, we are delivering a Trailblazer Programme in partnership with the Local Government Association and Public Health England, working with local authorities to address childhood obesity at local level.</p><p>The programme has a strong focus on inequalities and ethnic disparities in childhood obesity and in the next phase that begins this spring, the Trailblazer Programme will support five local authorities with £100,000 a year in funding to take innovative action to address these issues in their community.</p><p>Brilliant, innovative projects are already taking place across the country, and we will look closely at what has worked in Leeds, and with our Trailblazer councils to consider what more the Government can do to enable ambitious local action.</p> more like this

Member for Romford (Andrew Rosindell MP) on 26 March 2019 Question <a href="https://www.parliament.uk/business/publications/written-questions-answers-statements/written-question/Commons/2019-03-18/233488/" target="_blank">233488</a>.</p><p> </p><p>We want to ensure that parents have the right information when making important choices such as vaccinations for their children – as well as for people of all ages eligible for vaccines against diseases such as meningitis and shingles. The Department is working with Public Health England to help remind people about the dreadful diseases vaccines protect against.</p><p> </p><p>We have also been in discussion with major social media companies such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram about the issue of misinformation and proliferation of harmful content and its impact on people’s mental health, holding a summit on Monday 28 April, where vaccines were also raised. We intend to follow this with another meeting in the summer.</p>
