Almost 35,000 people have now been able to buy materials to repair their homes. There is still more to do, but this mechanism is a step in the right direction. However due to our current financial and management information systems we are unable to report on the specific interventions requested without incurring disproportionate cost.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Increasingly the Global Fund is the main financing mechanism for the UK’s support to TB and HIV. It would therefore not have been appropriate for DFID to place a copy of it in the Library of the House, although my previous answer did make clear that the Noble Lord could obtain a copy of the document by requesting it from the TCI Government.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Freedom of Information requests cover documents held by Her Majesty’s Government.
