star this property answer text <p /> <p>The National Probation Service (NPS) and Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRCs) work with all offenders to address the factors associated with their offending, including factors associated with their violent behaviour. Depending on the individual offender’s needs, there are a wide range of services in the community to address their offending behaviour and the factors leading to offending. These include emotion management, treatment for substance misuse and mental health, relationship skills, dealing with own victimisation and stress management.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Autism Act 2009 places a duty on the Secretary of<br>State for Health and Social Care to publish a strategy for meeting the needs of<br>autistic adults in England, and to review it periodically.</p><p /><p /> <p> </p><p /><p /> <p>In April 2014, the cross-Government adult autism strategy,<br>‘Think Autism’, was published. Statutory guidance for local authorities and National<br>Health Service organisations was published in March 2015 to support the adult<br>autism strategy’s implementation.</p><p /><p /> <p> </p><p /><p /> <p>We are currently reviewing the cross-Government autism<br>strategy and extending it to include children and young people. star this property answer text <p /> <p>Her Majesty’s Courts &amp; Tribunals Service (HMCTS) administers the Family Court and is responsible for recording and monitoring data of family cases on the main case management system. HMCTS use a system of standard operating procedures and data quality checks to ensure the effectiveness of recording data across HMCTS. Data is then extracted each month into a management information system (MIS).</p><p> </p><p>The Ministry of Justice use the data to produce the Family Court Statistics Quarterly bulletin which publishes workload and timeliness statistics for the Family Court.</p><p> </p><p>Data on timeliness in care proceedings are also published on the Open Justice website at Designated Family Judge level.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p /> <p>Since its inception in 2013, the Advisory Board has been supporting the development of locally driven whole system approaches in Greater Manchester and Wales which provide robust and effective sentencing options in the community. They also contributed to the development of guidance for the new probation providers on responding to the gender-specific needs of female offenders, and considered evidence from a cross-departmental working group on the links between debt and finance issues and female offenders.</p><p> </p><p>I believe the Advisory Board on Female Offenders has an important role to play in our work to drive forward improvements for female offenders. Since May 2015, we have refreshed the membership and Terms of Reference to enable the Board to provide stronger leadership, including holding key Government departments and delivery partners to account.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p /> <p>The Ministry of Justice does not collect data on the types of cases referred to coroners. However, it does collect data on the conclusions recorded at inquests.</p><p> </p><p>Coroners cannot by law investigate cases in which a child has not lived independently of its mother. They can open an investigation if there is any doubt over whether the child has lived independently, once they have received a report of a death. They can also investigate perinatal deaths which occur in the six days following birth. The Chief Coroner, HHJ Peter Thornton QC, is considering actions to improve consistency and good practice in relation to neonatal deaths.</p><p> </p><p>The table below sets out the number of inquest conclusions which were recorded as stillbirths.
