	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/06/2021 answer text <p>I know that the restrictions on singing are frustrating to large numbers of amateur choirs and performance groups across the country and that many people have made sacrifices in order to drive down infections and protect the NHS over the last year. I can assure you that everyone across the government wants to ease these restrictions as soon as possible.</p><p> </p><p>However, it is important that we take a cautious approach in easing restrictions. We have followed the views of public health experts on singing. We are aware, through the <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/905062/S0628_NERVTAG_Assessment_of_transmission_of_COVID-19_through_musical_events.pdf" target="_blank">NERVTAG</a> and <a href="https://chemrxiv.org/articles/preprint/Comparing_the_Respirable_Aerosol_Concentrations_and_Particle_Size_Distributions_Generated_by_Singing_Speaking_and_Breathing/12789221" target="_blank">PERFORM studies</a> that singing can increase the risk of COVID-19 transmission through the spread of aerosol droplets. This was backed up by a <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/pheemg-aerosol-and-droplet-generation-from-singing-wind-instruments-and-performance-activities-13-august-2020" target="_blank">consensus statement from SAGE</a>, resulting in the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-suggested-principles-of-safer-singing/covid-19-suggested-principles-of-safer-singing" target="_blank">suggested principles of safer singing</a> being published.</p><p><br>We will continue to keep guidance and restrictions under review, in line with the changing situation. The Government works closely with them across a wide range of areas, including gambling advertising.</p><p> </p><p>All gambling advertising, wherever it appears, is subject to strict controls on content and placement. Adverts must never be targeted at children or vulnerable people. The Advertising Standards Authority independently administers these standards through the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) which covers online and non-broadcast spaces and the Broadcast Committee of Advertising Practice (BCAP) for TV. If an advert for gambling holds particular appeal to children and is freely accessible then it will break the rules.</p><p>The Committees of Advertising Practice (CAP) recently concluded a consultation on proposals to amend their advertising codes to further limit the potential for gambling adverts to appeal to children. We have provided £1.57bn through the Cultural Recovery Fund, ensuring record breaking support is available to support the cultural sector through the COVID-19 crisis.</p><p>The Government decided not to seek continued participation in the Creative Europe programme as part of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU but to look at other ways of supporting the UK’s arts and cultural sectors. The Spending Review announced £7m in funding for a pilot year of the Global Screen Fund. The Fund will support the UK independent screen sector, in particular UK independent film content, to remain competitive in the international market and help ensure the continued stability of the independent screen sector as a whole.</p><p>We understand the role international cultural partnerships and networking play in driving forwards the very best in leading contemporary practice. Through regular ministerial-led roundtables, working groups and contact with DCMS officials, we will continue to work with the publishing sector to assess and understand the difficulties it faces in these challenging times and through recovery.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Government has provided unprecedented support for business and workers to protect them against the current economic emergency. The Government’s response has been one of the most generous and comprehensive in the world, including the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme and the Bounceback Loan Scheme and business rates reliefs. This includes guidance on customs and mobility procedures important to professionals in the live music industry, including freelance musicians and touring artists. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/07/2019 answer text <p>The Department published an updated National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) in March 2018, following a period of extensive engagement with stakeholders and those working across the National Health Service and local government.</p><p>The update provided clarity on policy areas and reflected legislative changes such as the Care Act 2014. Importantly, none of the 2018 amendments and clarifications to the National Framework changed the eligibility criteria for NHS CHC.</p><p>Following the of the National Framework, the Department and NHS England are working jointly to explore the NHS CHC and NHS-funded Nursing Care initial pathway including the CHC Checklist tool.</p><p>NHS England has launched an NHS CHC Strategic Improvement Programme and is helping clinical commissioning groups to improve their application of the NHS CHC National Framework.
