The College of Policing’s “Vulnerability” training package, aimed at ensuring a consistent approach across all police forces, includes a programme on Child Sexual Exploitation. Over £17 million has already been allocated to projects delivering interventions to young people at risk of criminal involvement, gang exploitation and county lines.</p><p>The successful bids were announced in November 2018 and so it is too early to make an assessment of the Fund’s effectiveness and any accomplishments.</p><p>We will be appointing an independent evaluation partner who will support local partnerships with monitoring arrangements and will gather qualitative and quantitative data over the course of the project. This work will contribute to a programme wide evaluation, including an overview of what we have learnt about good practice. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/03/2019 answer text <p>The Home Office chairs a Social Media Action Group which brings together Government, social media companies, police and community groups to discuss and take action against violence related content online.</p><p>We are also providing £1.4m to support a new national police capability to tackle gang related activity on social media. The new social media hub will be established within MPS, transforming the current capability and will take action against online material, focusing on investigative, disruption and enforcement work against specific gang targets, as well as making referrals to social media companies so illegal and harmful content can be taken down. It will be fully operational this spring.</p><p>We recognise though that more needs to be done to tackle online harms and we are committed to further legislation. A joint DCMS-Home Office White Paper will be published shortly. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/06/2019 answer text <p>We have checked the records that the department has kept since the introduction of the Cabinet Office guidance on settlement agreements on 1 February 2015 and confirm that we have one record, of using an NDA with a departmental staff member in July 2015.</p><p>The use of this NDA was unintentional i.e. the standard NDA paragraph was accidently left in the template by mistake. We are not aware of the Home Office using NDA for departmental staff other than this since the new guidance was introduced. However, the records examined were cross-matched from several different data sets, assembled for different purposes. Not all grievances will be upheld following investigation.</p><p><br>The Home Office makes it clear to employees that bullying, harassment and discrimination are unacceptable behaviours that will not be tolerated. Organisations which have taken no steps must state this clearly in their statement, which must be published in a prominent place on their website. Currently, organisations are not required to submit their modern slavery statement directly to the Home Office.</p><p>To assess compliance rates, the Home Office contracted the Business &amp; Human Rights Resource Centre (BHRRC) from September 2019 to January 2020 to undertake an audit of compliance on the Home Office’s behalf. The audit findings on levels of compliance were published on 17 September 2020 in the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner’s annual report (available here:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/independent-anti-slavery-commissioners-annual-report-2019-to-2020" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/independent-anti-slavery-commissioners-annual-report-2019-to-2020</a></p><p>To improve the quality and detail of reporting and accelerate action to prevent modern slavery, the Government recently announced an ambitious package of changes to strengthen and future-proof section 54, including requiring organisations to report against specific topics and creating a Government modern slavery statement registry to make all statements available in one place.
