This will enable simultaneous live streaming of television, video calling, emailing and basic web browsing. Consumers on connections of less than 10Mbps tend to use less data, suggesting that internet usage is constrained below this speed.</p><p> </p><p>Download speed is not the only quality requirement to be included in the proposed Universal Service Obligation (USO) specification. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/07/2017 answer text <p>18 financial penalties have been imposed to date on respondent employers for aggravated breaches of employment law under section 16 of the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013. Of these, 12 penalties have been paid and 6 remain unpaid either because the company has been dissolved or efforts by the debt collection agency for recovery of the amounts have been exhausted.</p><p>The total value of penalties imposed is just over £54,400. The total paid is just over £17,700, which was fully paid within 21 days so the 50% discount applied. This was a loss by a 3rd party supplier working on behalf of the Office of Civil Society (OCS) collecting survey data​.</p><p> </p><p>​In ​2017​ we introduced a more robust method of incident ​reporting​. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/10/2018 answer text <p>5G is the latest evolution of mobile communications technologies and currently in its development stages. 5G is likely to be deployed as part of a patchwork of technologies, including those already in use, such as advanced LTE (4G), Wi-Fi, as well as 5G new radio - forming a ‘network of networks’ of a heterogeneous nature.</p><p> </p><p>A considerable amount of research has been carried out on radio waves and we anticipate no negative effects on public health.</p><p> </p><p>The Government expects that existing UK technical standards will be adhered to throughout the development and deployment of 5G products and networks. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/04/2018 answer text <p>5G will introduce technologies which operate and communicate in innovative ways that have not been deployed at scale before, but which are anticipated ​to​ ​become​ ​commonplace​ ​in​ ​the​ ​next​ ​decade. Security is an important aspect of any new technology, not least digital connectivity.</p><p>The Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy (2016-2021) sets out ambitious policies to protect the UK in cyberspace, backed with £1.9 billion investment. The UK remains fully engaged with our EU counterparts, and we have been discussing the security aspects of the European Electronic Communications Code with member states.
