As a priority we will seek a bold and ambitious Free Trade Agreement that is of greater scope and ambition than any such existing agreement.</p><p>As we have made clear in our future partnership paper, we believe the UK and EU should continue to consult each other on foreign and security policy issues and agree joint positions, so that we can speak out together and drive progress on areas in our mutual interest. As an example, we should look to coordinate action, and share information, on sanctions policy when needed in order to respond robustly to those who challenge the rules-based international order, as we have recently done effectively in the case of Russia and Iran. We are clear that we want the EU to succeed: a successful EU, with the UK as its closest partner, is in all of our shared interests.</p><p>We want to have the greatest possible tariff- and barrier-free trade with our European neighbours, as well as to negotiate our own trade agreements around the world. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/02/2018 answer text <p>We will be seeking, wherever possible, to secure continuity with third countries as we withdraw from the EU.</p><p> </p><p>During the implementation period, the existing international agreements we are party to should continue to apply, including the EEA Agreement, Swiss- EU bilaterals and other agreements which govern the crucial elements of our trading and non-trading relationship with the EFTA states of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. We have said that people should be able to continue to live, work and visit the UK during the implementation period but there will be a registration system in preparation for our future immigration regime.</p><p> </p><p>Once the implementation period ends, we will no longer participate in these agreements and will need to put in place new arrangements with these countries. After we leave we will put in place an immigration system which works in the best interests of the whole of the UK. We have now held positive and constructive discussions with the European Union on the issue of frontier workers.</p><p>We have agreed those qualifying as frontier workers at the day of exit will be included within the final Withdrawal Agreement, in order to protect their ability to continue to live their lives broadly as they do now. We are confident that this is in the interests of both sides and we are working with the EU’s negotiating team at pace to agree the terms of our future relationship alongside the Withdrawal Agreement later this year.</p><p>At the end of that process, Parliament will have a vote. The vote offered by Government to Parliament will be either to accept or reject the deal. If the Withdrawal Agreement and the framework for our future relationship are not approved by the House of Commons, the Government will be unable to ratify the withdrawal agreement.
