They are developed in collaboration between overseas and UK based officials, and are assessed yearly. All export licence applications for arms exports to Saudi Arabia are approved where they are assessed to be consistent with the Consolidated EU and National Arms Export Licensing Criteria which were announced to Parliament by the then Business Secretary on 25 March 2014. We are carefully considering the implications of the judgment for decision-making. While we do this, we will not grant any new licences for exports to Saudi Arabia and its coalition partners, which might be used in the conflict in Yemen.</p><p> </p><p>Arms sales data by region are published annually on GOV.UK.</p><p> </p><p>Additionally, information on export licences issued, refused and revoked, up to 31 December 2018, which includes values declared for Standard Individual Export Licences, is published on GOV.UK.</p><p> </p><p>It should be noted, that licences granted are not necessarily a measure of sales or exports shipped in a given period as they are valid for between two and five years. Licensing data only provides a partial indication of sales as exporters only declare export values for a subsection of licences (Standard Individual Export Licences). 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/06/2019 answer text <p>The Department for International Trade works extensively throughout South America to strengthen the UK’s trade and investment relationships, with staff based in 19 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean (LatAC). In 2018 Joanna Crellin was appointed as HM Trade Commissioner for LatAC to coordinate the Government’s effort overseas to promote UK trade and prosperity. The Prime Minister also appointed two Trade Envoys in the region to promote trade and investment: Mark Prisk, the MP for Hertford and Stortford, for Brazil and Mark Menzies, the MP for Fylde, for Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina.</p><p> </p><p>As the UK prepares to leave the EU, we have concluded trade continuity agreements with Chile and the Andean Community (Colombia, Peru and Ecuador), which will allow us to continue trading on preferential terms. The Task Force objective is to share experience and best practice on planning and delivering major infrastructure projects. The former Minister of State for Trade and Export Promotion (Baroness Fairhead) had policy responsibility for the objectives of the Task Force. Until a successor is in post, my Hon. As a responsible Government, we have been preparing to minimise any disruption in the event of no deal for more than two years.</p><p> </p><p>The Public Information Campaign [GOV.UK] and our international information campaign on great.gov.uk give businesses in the UK and Europe the information they need to prepare for EU Exit. It includes technical notices on trade remedies, existing free trade agreements and UK trade tariffs after EU Exit.
