While there are no specific measures included in current specifications relating to the carriage of small freight, parcels and letters on passenger trains, the Department for Transport is carrying out research into how better use can be made of spare capacity on trains. unstar this property answer text <p>The Government conducts regular assessments to identify risks to energy supply including through the National Risk Assessment and National Security Risk Assessment processes. Government works closely with the supply industry and other stakeholders to ensure there are appropriate mitigation measures in place to strengthen resilience and to protect against risks where it is possible and value for money to do so. For example, supplies of power, gas and fuel across the country were robust to the major flooding earlier this year (though power supplies to flooded properties must be disconnected for safety reasons).</p><p>Further, in the event of a situation which threatened to disrupt energy supplies to customers, Government and industry have robust plans in place to manage and respond to such events, which are exercised on a regular basis.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Operators undertaking commercial aerial work using Remotely Piloted Aircraft need the permission of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The CAA keeps a record of permissions given to those operators.</p><p> </p><p>The regulation of small unmanned aircraft is specifically covered by two articles within the Air Navigation Order, which legislate for the ‘general’ flying aspects and the flight of those equipped for surveillance. However, as well as these specific articles, a more general article, which prevents a person ‘causing or permitting an aircraft to endanger the safety of any person or property’, also remains applicable.</p><p> </p><p>We do not believe that any additional regulatory changes are needed to ensure adequate privacy and data protection.</p><p> </p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The UK works closely with the French authorities on matters of border security and cross border criminality to maintain the integrity of our joint border controls. <br><br>The Home Office and Border Force regularly meet the French at Ministerial, official and operational level to enhance our effectiveness in tackling irregular migration and organised immigration crime, including between Calais and Dover.</p><p> </p><p>Recent collaboration has resulted in a grant of £2 million from the UK to replace and upgrade the Passive Millimetre Wave Imaging (PMMWI) equipment currently deployed in the ports of Calais and Coquelles.</p><p>In respect of the UK response to increase our impact on Organised Immigration Crime in France (especially northern France) Border Force have established a UK Task Force (Op Groundbreaker) and assembled Intelligence /Investigation Officers from Immigration Enforcement, Border Force, National Crime Agency and Kent Police. The Task Force is able to provide a robust response to OIC and work closely with French colleagues in Police Aux Frontiéres (PAF) nationally and in particular with OCRIEST (Office Central de Répression de l'Immigration Irrégulière et de l'Emploi d'Etrangers sans Titre - a specialist PAF Unit dedicated to tackling organised crime groups in France and abroad).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
