	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/04/2014 answer text <p>The Government set the overall allocation policy with the aim of getting the right balance between longer-term, stable investors, retail investors and shorter-term investors who provide liquidity in the market.</p><p> </p><p>Allocations were made to a number of institutions who in the early stages of engagement were willing to place non-binding orders despite the risks attached to the IPO such as the industrial relations situation. These investors gave us confidence that there was sufficient demand to proceed with the IPO.</p><p> </p><p>We had nearly three-quarters of a million retail applications so their allocations were scaled back as they were for institutional investors. Given this high demand, Ministers decided to prioritise smaller investors and put in place a cut-off above £10,000 and give everyone below that the same number of shares. The latest available information collated by HMCTS staff indicates that the applications received in respect of employment tribunal matters are currently determined within three working days. Appeals in respect of employment tribunal remissions decisions are currently determined within nine days.</p><p> </p><p>However, data on the time taken for each one of the remission applications determined so far is not readily available. To obtain that data would require significant work to interrogate the relevant HMCTS case management database. The Smith Agreement said that ‘further serious consideration should be given to its devolution and a process should be established immediately to consider the matter further.’ That process took place between the UK and Scottish Governments and resulted in an amendment to the Scotland Bill to devolve responsibility for abortion law to the Scottish Parliament. Since laying that amendment the Government has been engaging with interested parties about how the process of devolution will work and it will be for the Scottish Government to set out what approach it will take once responsibility for abortion law rests with the Scottish Parliament. The UK is an active member of the United Nations Working Group on Children in Armed Conflict (CAAC), which leads the international response on the issue of child soldiers and child protection.</p><p>The UK is the largest single financial contributor to the office of the UN Security General's Special Representative (SRSG) for CAAC. The British Government has been funding the Office of the SRSG on CAAC for a number of years, and will contribute £100,000 per year for the next three years (2017/18 – 2019/20). Through DFID, we are the largest bilateral donor to “Education Cannot Wait”, which was launched at the World Humanitarian Summit in 2016 to protect access to education for children in conflict zones. DFID’s education programmes have long addressed violence in schools and its Education Policy published in February 2018 (“Get Children Learning”) commits to focus even more on this in future. This includes supporting children’s psychological and social well-being and promoting inclusive education systems which minimise the negative effects of conflict and encourage reconciliation.</p><p>In 2018, the UK endorsed the Safe Schools Declaration as well as the guidance set out in both the Paris and Vancouver Principles which aims to ensure that child protection is an operational priority for UN peacekeeping missions. We press for the inclusion of child protection in peacekeeping responses through UN mandate renewals and resolutions. We call on other states to endorse and implement these instruments.</p><p>In November 2019, the UK will host an international meeting on preventing sexual violence in conflict. It considers whether the goods might be used in a way which is inconsistent with the Consolidated EU &amp; National Arms Export Licensing Criteria. To that end, we have published detailed Home Office policy guidance setting out how caseworkers are expected to conduct asylum interviews, which was developed in collaboration with external partners, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
