star this property answer text <p>The Government recognises the vital role that the steel sector plays across the economy of the United Kingdom. We will continue to work with the sector to support its decarbonisation efforts and we have already established various funding schemes such as the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF) and the Industrial Decarbonisation and Hydrogen Revenue Support (IDHRS) in this regard. Further proposals, including the approach to the Clean Steel Fund, will be unveiled at the earliest possible occasion.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Changes to bus services are notified to the Traffic Commissioners.</p><p>The Traffic Commissioners Annual Report for 2018-19 is due to be published in the Autumn. The latest published data from the Traffic Commissioners with regards the number of cancelled registrations can be found:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/traffic-commissioners-annual-report-2017-to-2018" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/traffic-commissioners-annual-report-2017-to-2018</a></p><p>The numbers of cancelled registrations will not be the same as the number of cessations of bus services: a registration that is cancelled may be complemented by a new service introduction that is an exact match or a slight variation to the one which has been cancelled.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government has been supporting UK aerospace research through the £685m Aerospace Technology Institute programme. Sharing in Growth, an intensive competitiveness improvement programme, has received £86m to support aerospace suppliers. It has created c.2,500 to 3,500 additional jobs and generated a net impact on turnover of £799m to £1,145m across all beneficiaries. The Department is now also working with industry to develop Supply Chain Solutions, an industry funded supplier competitiveness programme.</p><p> </p><p>This support helps attract inward investment into the UK, enables exports and helps secure major contract wins such as the recent Airbus deal with Air India.</p> more like this
