answer text <p>[holding answer 26 February 2014]</p><p>For the for week commencing 24 February 2014, there were 821 immigration detainees in prisons.</p><p> </p><p>Please note that the data includes a small number of individuals who have never served a custodial sentence. These individuals present specific risk factors that indicate they pose a serious risk of harm to the public or to the good order of an Immigration Removal Centre, including the safety of staff and other detainees, which cannot be managed within the regime applied in IRCs.</p><p> </p><p>To extract this small number of cases who have not served a custodial sentence would incur a disproportionate cost as this would involve looking at individual records.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p> </p><p>16 victims of trafficking (1 male, 15 female) have received financial <br>assistance under the programme since April 2011.<br><br>While the Assisted Voluntary Return for Irregular Migrants (AVRIM) programme <br>does not normally include financial assistance, a discretionary sum of up to <br>£1000 is provided for specified vulnerable cases, and this includes victims of <br>trafficking. Assisted Voluntary Return is only available to non-EEA nationals <br>and the support is not dependent upon whether the individual has arrived from <br>inside or outside the EU.<br><br>The figures provided are sourced from a Home Office management information <br>system which is not quality assured under National Statistics protocols and is <br>subject to change due to internal data quality checking. One of these alarms, on 24<sup>th </sup>March 2014, led to the attendance of the London Fire Brigade. On this occasion the alarm was triggered by a heat detector following the overheating of a grill in the Lower Ground Kitchens as well as the triggering of a manual call point. answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department for Transport provides funding for the delivery of Bikeability cycle training in England. Currently approximately 8,177 schools take part in training delivered by either their Local Highway Authority or School Games Organiser Host School.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Bikeability courses include discussions on helmets during the equipment check. Those wearing helmets are taught how to fit and adjust them correctly and there are also wider discussions on safety equipment and what to wear.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department for Education expects local authorities to meet its Home to School Transport Duties which includes ensuring safe walking routes and sustainable local travel.
