star this property answer text <p>The Prime Minister has been clear that we will bring about the end of the direct jurisdiction of the CJEU in the UK. After withdrawal, the UK will take back control of its laws. The Repeal Bill will end the supremacy of EU law. Our domestic law will once again be supreme. After we leave the EU, Parliament or, where appropriate, the devolved legislatures, will be free to change the law where they decide it is right to do so.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Customs Future Partnership Paper published in August 2017 sets out our objectives for a future customs relationship with the EU, and the two approaches that most closely meet these objectives. The paper indicated UK membership of the CTC could form part of our potential future relationship with the EU.</p><p> </p><p>Having moved beyond the first phase of the negotiations, the Government looks forward to negotiating the UK's future customs relationship with the European Union.</p> more like this
