A Strategic Outline Business Case for the Abbey Line bid was submitted to the Department in March 2021. star this property answer text <p>In 2019 the Department for Transport revised the guidance on this scheme to make it simpler for employers to offer it to their employees. The guidance makes clear that if a salary sacrifice agreement would put an employee’s salary below the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage, there are various options available to the employer. These include offering the employee a longer than usual hire period, or hiring a cycle to them under an employer loan scheme. The Department has no current plans to make any further changes to the Cycle to Work scheme.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The introduction of a reduced weekday timetable from 26 July 2021, and further amended on 6 September, is a temporary measure in response to COVID-19 related challenges. The recently published timetable has considered passenger usage and anticipated demand levels which are still significantly below pre-pandemic levels. There will be no additional compensation for season ticket holders unless their journey is delayed, as services are still available for passengers to use. If passengers are delayed, based on the published timetable, then they can claim delay repay from 15 minutes as usual.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government wants disabled people to travel easily, confidently and at no additional cost, just like everyone else. In 2018 we consulted on Accessible Information Regulations with plans to require the provision of accessible on-board information on local bus services throughout Great Britain.</p><p>In the 2021 National Bus Strategy for England ‘Bus Back Better’, we announced, subject to final analysis, that we will introduce regulations by Summer 2022 requiring bus companies to provide audible and visual announcements onboard their services in Great Britain.</p><p>We have also pledged to provide £3.5 million of targeted funding to support smaller operators to provide audio and visible information, ensuring passengers benefit from it soon as possible.</p> more like this
