unstar this property answer text <table><tbody><tr><td><p>To date, the Law Officers have referred the cases of 135 offenders sentenced in 2022 to the Court of Appeal under the Unduly Lenient Sentence scheme.</p></td></tr></tbody></table><p>Of those cases referenced, 120 have so far concluded. The Court granted leave to refer in 93 (77.5%) and the sentence was increased in 80 (67%). These figures are accurate as of 25 January 2023.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <table><tbody><tr><td><p>The Attorney General’s Office has a shared HR service with the Government Legal Department (GLD) and do not report separately on this matter. This Government is committed to paying people a decent living wage, which is being addressed through the statutory National Living Wage. In April 2022, the Government increased the National Living Wage to £9.50 per hour. This will rise to £10.42 an hour from 1 April 2023, an increase of 9.7%.
