star this property answer text <p>No estimate has been made, but my Department has asked local authorities and housing associations to provide data on the external walls systems of their high-rise residential buildings of 18 metres or above. This exercise is part of an ongoing programme to build a more complete picture of the variety of external wall systems in use. I have provided £4 million to support local authorities with this important exercise. I expect this to be complete by 31 March 2020.</p> more like this

Ministers are considering all budgets in the round and allocations will be announced following a business planning exercise later in the year</p><p><br> The government recognises that the community-led housing sector offers significant potential for helping to meet housing need across England. In addition to helping increase the rate of delivery of new housing, it will help deliver a range of benefits including: diversifying the house building sector, improving design and construction quality, developing modern methods of construction, and sustaining local communities and local economies. The support and close involvement of the local community enables the community-led approach to secure planning permission and deliver housing that could not be brought forward through speculative development.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Secretary of State recognises the importance of parks and green spaces in building safer, stronger and more integrated communities. We announced on 7 October that Government would invest £1 million in a second pocket parks programme to create new parks and also provide support to maintain and improve existing parks to help bring existing parks back into safe and regular use.</p><p>The Government will shortly be publishing a prospectus, inviting bids for funding from across the England. Following closure of the application process, bids will be reviewed and announcement of successful applicants will be announced in spring 2018.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The priorities set out in the Integrated Communities Strategy Green Paper will be supported by £50 million funding over the next two years. This includes funding to support the Integration Areas programme, based on the areas' local delivery plans to address the integration challenges and priorities identified locally. It also includes the new Integrated Communities Innovation Fund and the Integrated Communities English Language Programme, both of which were open to applicants with project proposals where there is evidence of local integration challenges. The assessment criteria for both of these programmes were set out in the programme prospectus published on the GOV.uk website.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We are committed to supporting coastal communities to unlock barriers to their development and growth, and to strengthen their appeal as places to live, work and visit.</p><p>Since 2012 we have provided coastal communities in England with £132 million of support through the Coastal Communities Fund, £3.7 million through the Coastal Revival Fund and provided £1.46 million to support the establishment of 146 Coastal Communities Teams around the English Coastline. We are continuing to support coastal communities with at least £40 million in the current round (Round 5) of Coastal Communities Fund and with a further £1 million for the Coastal Revival Fund.</p> more like this
