provide information on the local authority areas within which land had been transferred
from the Green Belt - and the hectares of land involved - for each year from 2010-11
to 2018-19.</p><p>In addition, Table 2 of the 2018-19 release provides figures for
the net change in the size of the Green Belt for each year from 2010-11 to 2018-19
separately.</p><p>Information for 2019-20 is due to be published in September or October
2020.</p><p>The local plans process does not provide for the department to routinely
receive information on the numbers of hectares of land proposed for removal from the
Green Belt. Until a revised development plan is submitted to formal examination, any
Green Belt boundary changes would be conjecture.</p>
