One further unit has been awarded a contract under Final Investment Decision Enabling for Renewables (FIDeR). SMRs could also present high value commercial opportunities for the UK.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has commissioned a feasibility study to assess the technical, economic and commercial case for SMRs. This will inform the evidence base for further decision making.
