star this property answer text <p>The Cabinet Office has a London pay scale which applies to staff in London and Basingstoke. The Cabinet Office has amalgamated pay bands for its grades below the Senior Civil Service and this is reflected in the reply below.</p><p>52.17% of the staff in Cabinet Office on the London pay scale at AA and AO are female.</p><p>56.58% of the staff in Cabinet Office on the London pay scale at EO level are female.</p><p>56.67% of the staff in Cabinet Office on the London pay scale at fast streamer level are female.</p><p>52.77% of the staff in Cabinet Office on the London pay scale at HEO and SEO level are female</p><p>46.31% of the staff in Cabinet Office on the London pay scale at Grade 7 and Grade 6 level are female.</p><p>45.27% of the staff in Cabinet Office on the London pay scale at SCS1 are female.</p><p>The Cabinet Office does not have any staff at SCS1A grade</p><p>33.33% of the staff in Cabinet Office on the London pay scale at SCS2 are female.</p><p>41.67% the staff in Cabinet Office on the London pay scale at SCS3 are female.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is committed to improving female representation and tackling the gender pay gap in the Civil Service. From April 2017 we will be introducing new measures that require all organisations across the private, voluntary and public sector to regularly publish gender pay gap analysis and statistics, to bring greater transparency to pay disparities between men and women across the UK.</p>

star this property answer text <p>The proportion of women employed by my Department on an outer London pay structure, by pay grade, is as follows:</p><p>Admin Assistant/Officer: 0.3%</p><p>Executive Officer: 0.5%</p><p>Higher/Senior Executive Officer: 3.1%</p><p>Grade Six/Seven: 2.1%</p><p>The Cabinet Office is headquartered in London and therefore these figures will reflect that.</p><p>The Government is committed to improving female representation and tackling the gender pay gap in the Civil Service. As part of the Talent Action Plan the commitments we will take forward include a critical talent review and to review our approach to maternity leave and returning to work. We have already introduced shared parental leave across the Civil Service and a new online job share portal to help people identify job share opportunities across the organisation.</p><p>From April 2017 we will be introducing new measures that require all organisations across the private, voluntary and public sector to regularly publish gender pay gap analysis and statistics, to bring greater transparency to pay disparities between men and women across the UK.</p><p>There is no central policy on moving civil servants between London and the regions. Departments determine their own workforce requirements and the Civil Service has significant UK-wide presence. Workforce planning is primarily the responsibility of each department to determine based on their individual operational and policy requirements.</p>

star this property answer text <p>The Prime Minister’s Office is integral part of the Cabinet Office.</p><p>The Government is united in its ambition to deliver a successful withdrawal from the EU and a new relationship with Europe. Cabinet Office will work together with the Department for Exiting the EU (DExEU) and other departments to deliver this. The Prime Minister has instructed all departments to identify potential opportunities that will arise in their areas from EU exit. Cabinet Office is working closely with DExEU to ensure that the full range of opportunities is identified, and risks mitigated across areas of Cabinet Office responsibility.</p><p>The Cabinet Office exists to support the Prime Minister and ensure the effective running of government. We are also the corporate headquarters for government, in partnership with HM Treasury, and we take the lead in certain critical policy areas. As a result, rather than having stand-alone projects related to the UK’s exit from the EU, all aspects of Cabinet Office responsibility are now adapting to the current context, which includes preparing for the UK’s exit from the EU.</p>
