star this property answer text <p>Like all departments, the Wales Office is helping to plan for a number of EU Exit scenarios to make sure that we are ready on Day 1. The department has reprioritised to ensure resources are available to do this.</p><p> </p><p>Over £250m of additional funding has been approved across a number of departments in 2017/18 to prepare for Brexit, including the Wales Office. Any additional funding the department receives from the reserve for 2017/18 will be set out at Supplementary Estimates.</p> more like this

Since 2010, Wales has been the fastest growing part of the UK outside London and exports to countries outside the EU have increased by £400 million.</p><p>Last week my Rt hon Friend the Prime Minister set out this Government’s plan to build a stronger, fairer, more global Britain. star this property answer text <p>The Wales Office does not provide on-site childcare facilities on its estate. However, the Department recognises that staff need flexible pre-school and out-of-school childcare of a type and in a location most convenient to them.</p><p> </p><p>The Wales Office is not an employer in its own right, and staff are employed by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). The MoJ offers a salary sacrifice scheme for childcare vouchers which enables staff to choose their own childcare provider (subject to meeting eligibility requirements) and have their childcare costs reduced by taking part of their salary in the form of childcare vouchers, which are exempt from tax and National Insurance contributions.</p><p> </p><p>We also follow MoJ polices by offering a range of flexible working options to staff, including term-time working, job shares and compressed hours, to allow staff with caring responsibilities to work in the way that best suits them.</p><p> </p> more like this
