	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/05/2019 answer text <p>The Protocols and Annexes to the Treaty on European Union (TEU) and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) (as amended) “form an integral part thereof” as set out in Article 51 of the TEU i.e. they have the same legal status as the Treaties.</p><p>Joint or unilateral interpretative statements annexed to treaties are relevant to the interpretation of those treaties in accordance with article 31 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties and have binding legal force where they are accepted by the parties.</p><p>When Parliament approved the UK’s accession to the EU it approved accession to all existing EU Treaties as described in part 1 of Schedule 1 to the European Communities Act 1972. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government has published a number of documents to support public and parliamentary scrutiny of our preparations for leaving the EU.</p><p>The Government continues to report regularly to the House and its Select Committees in person and by responding fully to inquiries and reports. In addition to regular statements by the Prime Minister, DExEU Ministers have given evidence to a broad range of committees on 49 occasions and have made 187 written statements to both Houses.</p><p>In addition, the Government published a robust, objective assessment of how exiting the EU could affect the economy of the UK in November 2018, as part of its commitment to providing Parliament with appropriate analysis. In addition, all legislation is accompanied by explanatory documents. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government has consulted with Members from all sides of the House on a range of issues relating to the UK’s withdrawal from, and future relationship with the EU.</p><p>If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, the UK would implement a temporary tariff regime that takes a balanced approach to support the UK economy as a whole. It will maintain open trade on the majority of UK imports, to support consumers and business supply chains, but retain necessary tariff protection for particular sectors of the UK economy. This would apply for up to 12 months while a full consultation, and review on a permanent approach, is undertaken.</p><p>As a responsible government we’ve been preparing to minimise any disruption in the event of no deal for over three years. The necessary preparations are in place to ensure a functioning statute book for exit day, as they were before 12 April. There will be a number of additional statutory instruments laid over the coming months to account for any new updates to EU regulations during the extension period.</p><p>The progress of all bills currently before Parliament can be tracked on parliament.uk.
