star this property answer text <p>There are currently 13 National Health Service centres that are able to provide Chimeric Antigen Receptors Cell Therapy (CAR-T) for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia for children and young people up to the age of 25 years old or are able to provide CAR-T for adults with large B-cell lymphoma.</p><p>In October 2021, NHS England wrote to all allogeneic transplant centres in England who were not CAR-T providers to invite them to express an interest in becoming a commissioned provider of CAR-T services in adults.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>To identify appropriate locations, integrated care systems (ICSs) are required to ensure that proposed sites meet the specifications of being separate from acute diagnostics and are able to accommodate minimum community diagnostic centre (CDC) services.</p><p>All proposed CDCs go through an approvals process led by systems and NHS England, prior to approval by Ministers.</p><p>NHS England’s ambition is that each ICS will have at least one standard or large model CDC.</p><p>The first CDCs to open were early adopter sites that could be stood up quickly with no capital investment requirements, to add much-needed additional diagnostic capacity to address the diagnostic backlog. Where required, these temporary sites are being replaced. There are no other eligibility criteria on the order in which CDCs are being rolled out.</p> more like this

The Health Survey for England (2012, 2015, 2016 and 2018) was used as the primary dataset for this review and analysis was carried out on this four-year combined and weighted dataset.
