star this property answer text <br /><p>Ambulance services are experiencing a significant increase in demand compared with previous years.</p><br /><p>NHS England and trusts are responding to this challenge with a number of measures including the Ambulance Response Programme which enables trusts to provide a more clinically appropriate response to patients.In 2014/15, there were 1,048,500 more ambulance journeys compared with 2009/10 (2,800 per day). There are now almost 2,000 more paramedics compared to 2010.</p> more like this

Game meat processed at approved game handling establishments will come from trained hunters and be supported by an appropriate declaration. star this property answer text <br /><p>CCGs will have the full commissioning responsibility for the obesity services within their remit to set standards for services for their population and to make clinical commissioning policy decisions in terms of patient eligibility with effect from April 2016.</p><br /><p>NHS England is supporting the transfer of commissioning responsibilities to CCGs by providing clinical guidance on standards for the adult obesity surgery pathway. This guidance is in development, supported by national clinical experts.</p><br /><p>The draft clinical commissioning policy includes reference to the relevant National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidance to support CCGs in determining patient eligibility to obesity surgery. The draft service specification will reflect best practice and describes the standard providers will need to meet for the surgical service.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <br /><p>Dental amalgam has been in use for over 150 years to restore teeth in millions of patients and, apart from rare instances of hypersensitivity, no adverse reactions have been identified. Alternative dental restorative materials are not so easily, quickly and reliably placed. Neither are they so durable. Due to improvements in oral health, the number of restorations is decreasing with the result that the safe management and disposal of dental amalgam is more easily achieved.</p><br /><p>The World Health Organization report <em>Future Use of Materials for Dental Restorations November 2009</em> concluded that dental amalgam remains a dental restorative material of choice in the absence of an ideal alternative.
