Nevertheless, the convening by the UN Envoy, Horst Koehler, of an initial roundtable with the parties and neighbouring states in Geneva on 5-6 December is a positive step. The UK will encourage the participants to remain engaged with Mr Koehler, with a view to making further progress.</p> more like this
