The Minister also summoned the Zimbabwean Ambassador on 17 January to express our concern at the ongoing situation in Zimbabwe. Minister Baldwin urged Zimbabwe to stop disproportionate use of force by the security forces and investigate any cases of alleged human rights abuses. Minister of State for the Middle East, Alistair Burt, has raised these concerns with the Palestinian Foreign Minister, and British Government officials regularly do likewise. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/02/2019 answer text <p>The Malaysian government is fully aware of our position on capital punishment and we continue to raise this issue at the highest levels.</p><p>We warmly welcome the Malaysian Cabinet’s announcement in October 2018 to abolish the death penalty. We are aware of the difficulties facing Palestinian olive growers. We have expressed our serious concerns to the Israeli Government and security officials about the destruction of olive trees and the prevention of access to them on a number of occasions. The British Government condemns any violence by settlers against Palestinians.
