Where a scheme is not solely required to deliver airport capacity and has a wider range of beneficiaries, the Government, along with relevant stakeholders, will consider the need for a public funding contribution alongside an appropriate contribution from the airport on a case by case basis. On 1<sup>st</sup> April 2018, the National Living Wage (NLW) increased by 4.4% to £7.83. This represents an annual pay rise of over £2,000 for a full-time worker since the NLW was introduced in April 2016. The Personal Allowance and Higher Rate Threshold also increased in line with CPI, to £11,850 and £46,350 respectively. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2018 answer text <p>The accounts of non-profit making companies included within the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000 (Audit of non-profit making companies) Order 2009 (SI 2009/476) and as amended by subsequent Orders must be examined and certified by the Comptroller and Audit General. The C&amp;AG must then send a copy of the accounts and the report to the relevant departmental Secretary of State, usually this is the SoS of the sponsor department, or any other minister of the Crown who must then lay them before Parliament.</p><p> </p><p>Companies must also comply with applicable requirements in the Companies Act 2006 and follow the financial reporting principles of the HM Treasury Financial Reporting Manual (except for public corporations that are not trading funds). 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2018 answer text <p>Government controlled companies must comply with the applicable requirements in the Companies Act 2006 and follow the financial reporting principles of the HM Treasury Financial Reporting Manual (except for public corporations that are not trading funds). This includes the provision of the additional disclosures required by the Manual where these go beyond the Companies Act. The Manual applies EU adopted international financial reporting standards (IFRS) as adapted or interpreted for the public sector.</p><p> </p><p>Government controlled companies that have charitable status should comply with the applicable charities legislation and where relevant, the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) Accounting for Charities, issued by the Charity Commission.</p><p> </p><p>Sections within the Companies Act 2006 define the qualifying criteria for small companies’ regime.
