star this property answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence is committed to appropriate transparency of its finances, and we make regular reports to Parliament on our expenditure as well as being subject to regular National Audit Office studies on various aspects of our expenditure. In particular, we produce an account of the Department's actual expenditure every year in the Annual Report and Accounts, and we also publish annually a detailed report on the Equipment Plan, focusing on departmental spending on the procurement and support of military equipment. These reports set out actual expenditure at the end of the relevant financial year. We published the 2018-19 Annual Report before the summer recess and the equipment plan report is due to be published later this year.</p><p>The figures concerned are estimates and are subject to variations in expenditure that take place throughout the year as the Department undertakes its business. The definitive record of our expenditure is set out in the Annual Report and Accounts and Equipment Plan. The Annual Report for the year ending 31 March 2020 will be published in summer 2020 and the Equipment Plan 2019 is due to be published later this year. star this property answer text <p>Junior soldiers are signed up for an apprenticeship when they join, which will be specific to the trade they wish to specialise in. The Army does not currently offer a 'Cyber' apprenticeship but does offer other apprenticeships relevant to those who work in this area.</p><p>Cyber security is vital to defence and training our personnel is of paramount importance to us. The Defence Cyber School, which celebrated its first-year anniversary in March, is a centre of excellence for cyber training established to meet the needs of defence and its partners, addressing all aspects of cyber training and education.</p> more like this

To identify anyone seconded to IMS would involve searching thousands of records and therefore the information could be provided only at disproportionate cost. star this property answer text <p>To maximise its commercial opportunities and provide it with services in support of effective delivery of its core business, the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) established some subsidiary companies that operated at arm's length from UKHO on behalf of the Secretary of State for Defence. Any such companies were wholly-owned by the Defence Secretary and came under the umbrella of Admiralty Holdings Limited (AHL). Their scope and number varied from time to time according to the opportunities that presented themselves and any changes requiring approval from the owner. AHL was operated on the owner's behalf by UKHO. All companies are currently dormant are therefore no longer active.</p> more like this
