answer text In accordance with the Open Skies Treaty, Russian military personnel, accompanied throughout by RAF personnel, conducted observation flights over the UK during the weeks of 11 May and 1 June 2015. The aircraft involved was unarmed and pre-certified by all Open Skies states. It flew on a flight plan authorised by the Ministry of Defence, in this case including over Lancashire, and the UK received copies of all photographs taken. The UK conducts similar missions in Russia. more like this

answer text <p>Work will commence on the next <em>UK Air and Space Doctrine</em> in the summer of 2016 and it is expected to be published in 2017. As with the previous version published in 2013, the RAF will consult widely across Defence as well as in the academic community. Research will draw on similar work from sources such as NATO and the United States Air Force.</p><p>In addition, the Development Concepts and Doctrine Centre (DCDC) will review the related Joint Doctrine Note (JDN): The UK Approach to Unmanned Systems. The process of finalising the details should appropriately consider the format of such a list and where such a list might be hosted in order to appropriately commemorate the loss of personnel during this operation. answer text <p>Within Iraq the UK has helped train over 1,500 Kurdish Peshmerga across a range of infantry, counter-Improvised Explosive Device, weapons maintenance and protection of civilian courses. UK air strikes have helped halt, hold and begin to roll-back ISIL, including in Kurdish areas. We have also gifted over 50 tonnes of equipment, 40 heavy machine guns, nearly half a million rounds of ammunition and delivered over 300 tonnes of weapons and ammunition on behalf of other coalition nations.</p><p>The coalition is helping counter-ISIL in Syria and coalition airstrikes have helped Kurdish forces liberate and then defend Kobane. The UK is not conducting any airstrikes in Syria but does have intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft periodically operating over Syria.</p><p> </p> more like this

The Royal Gibraltar Regiment is funded as part of British Forces Gibraltar, of which it is a key part, and costs around £9.5 million a year.
