Similar contributions to schools are made by the Police, Fire, Ambulance and other emergency services. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/09/2015 answer text <p>The overall number of visits is dependent on a range of factors including the approach of the Army and RAF to engaging young people.</p><p>For the Army in particular, a more focused approach to engagement through the Army in Education programme may also have contributed to this reduction.</p><p>In addition, from 2012 to 2015 the RAF operated a system that sought to connect with pupils mainly through social media and marketing. The statistics provided to answer Question 4788 were collected from the computer system called ICARAS.</p><p>For the RAF, prior to January 2015, recording data on ICARAS was not mandatory. The difference in figures is because not all historic data has been recorded on ICARAS for the year 2011-12 and, therefore, the previously manually collected data is more accurate.</p><p>For the Army, prior to April 2013 they used the ICARAS system to track outreach activity, including visits to schools. However, the identification of specific types of event was problematic and it was often quicker and easier to ask Recruiting Offices for a summary of their activity. These summaries were based on local records, and were not always fully collated.</p><p>Since April 2013 ICARAS has been the main tool to track events. UK aircrews always operate in accordance with International Humanitarian Law, the Law of Armed Conflict and under strict Rules of Engagement. We have provided significant support to humanitarian planning for Raqqah operations. This has included involvement in the Coalition's civil-military planning process and detailed engagement with the UN and agencies.</p><p>Arranging the safe passage of civilians to areas of safety hinges entirely on the goodwill of parties to the conflict. UK aid does not currently go to Daesh-held areas because Daesh are blocking humanitarian access. Support to personnel has improved in a number of ways, including providing pre and post-operational stress management training, a wide range of psychiatric and psychological treatments and initiatives such as Decompression, Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) and Post Operational Stress Management.</p><p>Trained TRiM providers are embedded in both - 13 Squadron and 39 Squadron, the Royal Air Forces's (RAF) frontline Reaper units based at RAF Waddington and Creech AFB.</p><p>For Financial Year 2014-15, out of a total of approximately 180 personnel, there were fewer than five RAF personnel from 13 Squadron or 39 Squadron who were seen for an initial assessment at Ministry of Defence Specialist Mental Health Services. BOTC have one of six types of British nationality which already makes them eligible to apply to join the British Armed Forces, and they serve as part of the British cohort. As at 1 April 2018 there were 130 BOTC serving in the Regular trained strength of the British Armed Forces.</p><p>However, for security reasons the Armed Forces continue to have UK residency criteria to ensure the appropriate security standards which all applicants are required to meet.
