	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/12/2015 answer text <p>The following table shows the number of Foreign National Offenders (FNOs) who have been convicted of a criminal offence and sentenced to a period of imprisonment and subsequently referred to Immigration Enforcement for consideration of removal action.</p><p>Whilst we aim to deport foreign national offenders at the earliest opportunity not all of those referred to the Home Office will meet the deportation threshold, some may later be confirmed as British or exempt from Immigration Control and some will be successful at appeal. Removal may also be delayed as some offenders will repeatedly refuse to comply with the deportation and documentation process, deliberately seek to flout the system to disrupt our efforts to deport them or attempt to lodge multiple appeals. Factors such as these can lead to deportation being delayed.</p><p>In May 2013, a new system was introduced for recording and monitoring all FNO referrals, even where an offender did not meet the deportation threshold. Prior to this, referrals of those who did not meet deportation criteria were not routed through a central system so this data was not centrally recorded. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2018 answer text <p>The UK has a comprehensive offer for skilled technology entrepreneurs seeking to work in the United Kingdom.</p><p>Migrants wishing to establish, set up or take over a business in the UK may apply under our Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa route if they can demonstrate a credible business plan and have £50,000 funding to invest in their business from a specified source, or £200,000 from any source.</p><p>For migrants who have studied at UK universities and now wish to set up their own technology business, the Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur visa route is also available. This route requires applicants to be endorsed by a Higher Education Institution but does not require any minimum investment funds and allows applications to work part time to support themselves as they develop their business. The independent Migration Advisory Committee’s review of the route in 2015, concluded that the Graduate Entrepreneur scheme works well; it has limited numbers and attracts high quality people. The Government is currently considering the MAC’s wider recommendations from that review.</p><p>For skilled technology entrepreneurs who are at the very top of their profession that can demonstrate exceptional skills or potential the UK also maintains an exceptional talent route. The Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) route has 5 endorsing bodies of which Tech City provides endorsement for those in the digital technology sector. On 11 January 2018, we doubled the number of exceptional talent places available each year to 2000 places, recognising the contribution that these highly skilled migrants make to the UK. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/03/2018 answer text <p>Cyber security, including cyber crime, is a top priority threat to national security.<strong> </strong>This is why the National Cyber Security Strategy 2016-2021 is supported by £1.9billion of transformational investment. We have boosted the capabilities of the National Crime Agency’s National Cyber Crime Unit by increasing their ability to investigate the most serious cyber crime, and we are continuing to invest in the cyber teams within each of the Regional Organised Crime Units across England and Wales.</p><p>We have also established the National Cyber Security Centre which manages national cyber security incidents, carries out real-time threat analysis and provides tailored sectoral advice. We have invested in regional cyber crime prevention coordinators, who engage with SME’s and the public to provide bespoke cyber security advice based on the latest technical understanding from the National Cyber Security Centre.</p><p>Driving up cyber knowledge and expertise at the local policing level is also extremely important. The College of Policing provides a range of courses for police officers and staff on cyber crime. The College are also working on behalf of the Home Office to create the Cyber Digital Career Pathways project. This project will create a Cyber Digital Investigation Profession across all of law enforcement, providing a career pathway and professional certification for Cyber Digital Investigation Professionals.</p><p>The Home Office delivers the Government’s Cyber Aware campaign which encourages the public and small businesses to adopt simple behaviours which will help protect them against the majority of cyber threats. The Cyber Aware and Take Five campaigns are designed to help encourage the public and small businesses to protect themselves from cyber crime and fraud, providing advice on specific protective and actionable behaviours to increase resilience.</p><p>Cyber Aware and Take Five in particular have been developed jointly by industry and Government experts including the National Cyber Security Centre and the Joint Fraud Taskforce and have established consensus around a single set of authoritative advice to protect individuals from cyber criminals and fraudsters. In some circumstances, this will take longer than 8 weeks due to the complexity or importance of the recommendations.</p><p>In order to provide full transparency, reports will only be laid in Parliament when both Houses are sitting. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>As set out in the Statement of Intent published on 21 June, eligible non-EU family members granted status under the EU Settlement Scheme will be issued with a status in a digital form. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>Calais leave is a bespoke form of leave, introduced specifically for those children transferred to the UK between 17 October 2016 and 13 July 2017 as part of the Calais camp clearance to reunite with family and who did not qualify for leave to remain in the UK under existing Immigration Rules. It was created in recognition of the specific circumstances that surrounded the clearance of the camp and the transfer of children to the UK.</p><p>In agreement with the French Government, the UK took unprecedented action to remove children from a dangerous situation to reunite them with their family in the UK. A total of 549 children were brought to the UK to join family members as part of this process. Granting leave to those transferred from Calais is in keeping with our ongoing commitment to those individuals.</p><p>The Dublin Regulation determines the Member State responsible for assessing an asylum claim and does not confer any right to remain in the UK. An unaccompanied child who is transferred to the UK to reunite with family here under the Dublin Regulation will have their asylum claim considered in line with our published policy and guidance.
