	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/06/2019 answer text <p>The Home Office does not hold information on the number of individuals charged under The Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Act, which came into effect on 13 November 2018. However, police forces in England and Wales provide the Home Office with data on the number of offences recorded of Assault or assault by beating of a constable or emergency worker that resulted in a charge.</p><p>Between 13 November 2018 to 31 December 2018, there were 947 offences recorded under the Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Act 2018 that resulted in a charge. This estimated that there were between 10,000 and 13,000 potential victims of modern slavery in the UK in 2013. This estimate does not break down into adult and child cases of modern slavery.</p><p>In the 2018 UK Annual Report on Modern Slavery the National Crime Agency assessed that the actual scale of modern slavery in the UK is gradually increasing and, if drivers remain at their current levels, will continue to do so over the next three years. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/06/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to supporting all victims of domestic abuse and continues to engage with victims, survivors and the sector on this issue.</p><p>On 8 March 2018 the Government published the consultation, Transforming the Response to Domestic Abuse, setting out our proposed approach to tackling domestic abuse. The consultation received over 3200 responses from a range of sources including, victims and survivors, support organisations and research experts. The knowledge and expertise extracted from the consultation have informed the measures included in the draft Domestic Abuse Bill and package of non-legislative initiatives.</p><p>On 15 May 2019, I, together with the Minister for Immigration (Caroline Nokes), the Minister of State for Equalities (Baroness Williams of Trafford) and the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice (Edward Argar) co-hosted a Round Table on migrant women affected by domestic abuse.
