star this property answer text <p>For the recent live facial recognition trials, police have compiled bespoke watch lists of individuals depending on the needs of the deployment. This includes people wanted for serious offences, those banned from attending the event, or known criminals that operate in a crowded space.</p><p>The police’s selection of images that are used to compile watch lists is governed by data protection legislation and human rights law.</p><p>The National Police Chiefs’ Council is currently drafting operational advice to police forces on the conduct of trials, including the creation of watch lists. The Facial Images and New Biometrics Oversight and Advisory Board will review the advice.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The new Emergency Services Network (ESN) is the next-generation critical communications system that allows the police, fire and rescue and ambulance services to operate safely, collaborate and innovate. ESN represents value for money for the taxpayer through delivering steady state savings of over £200m pa compared to Airwave.</p><p>The delay in rolling out ESN means that we will continue to pay for Airwave for longer, at current rates. Local forces will continue to have to pay some Airwave charges as well as for commercial broadband services. There will also continue to be some costs for supporting transition teams. We do not have precise figures for these local costs.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>As a matter of long-standing policy and practice, we do not disclose whether an extradition request has been made or received until such time as a person is arrested in relation to the request. We therefore cannot provide the total number of extradition requests made by the UK for US citizens in each year since 2014.</p><p>We can however provide the total number of US citizens (including dual nationals) arrested in relation to extradition requests made by the UK to the US since 2014. star this property answer text <p>The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies to care homes and the parts of multi-occupied residential premises that are used in common by occupants of more than one dwelling. The Fire Safety Order requires those responsible for a premises to undertake and review regularly a fire risk assessment and put in place and maintain adequate and appropriate fire protection measures to mitigate the risk to life from fire to as low as is reasonably practicable.</p><p><br>The Home Office recently launched a Call for Evidence on the Fire Safety Order to ensure it remains fit for purpose. The call for evidence runs until 31 July 2019.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies to all non-domestic premises, including parts of multi-occupied residential premises that are used in common by occupants of more than one dwelling. The Government makes available a suite of premises-specific guidance to help those with responsibilities under the Fire Safety Order to comply, including the requirement to provide suitable escape routes and emergency exits.</p><p><br>Supplementary guidance, which provides extra information on accessibility and means of escape for disabled people, is also made available on Gov.UK.</p> more like this
