<p>Information regarding the average duration of the asylum procedure at first instance
in the UK, and the average duration of the asylum procedure of those who are Syrian
nationals, Afghan nationals and Iraqi nationals is not held centrally and to obtain
it would exceed the disproportionate cost threshold.</p><p>However, information relating
to the percentage of asylum applications processed within 6 months can be found on
table ASY_10 of the Asylum Transparency data, published 22<sup>nd</sup> August 2019:</p><p><a
