This data shows a small increase in the number of victims exploited as a child referred into the NRM (1231 to 1274 referrals).</p><p> </p><p>The data tables, which are published alongside the statistical bulletin, break down child referrals by a number of different characteristics which show that children exploited in the UK appear to be driving the increase in referrals. The latest report is for 2018-19 and is available at https://www.missingpersons.police.uk/en-gb/resources/downloads/missing-persons-statistical-bulletins. The Home Office does not hold data on missing children incidents.</p><p> </p><p>The Government recognises the importance of accurate and timely data on both current and historic missing incidents. We are working with the national policing lead for Missing Persons and the NCA’s UK Missing Persons Unit through the Home Office National Law Enforcement Data Programme (NLEDP) to deliver a National Register for Missing Persons (NRMP). 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/10/2020 answer text <p>Protecting and supporting vulnerable children during the pandemic is a priority for this Government, and we continue to work closely with the charitable sector who deliver vital services to children and families around the country.</p><p> </p><p>In June of this year, the Home Office and the Department for Education launched the £7.6m joint Vulnerable Children National Charities Strategic Relief (VCNCSR) Fund to provide financial hardship relief for national Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations that support vulnerable children across England and Wales.</p><p> </p><p>Following a competitive assessment process, the full fund was allocated in August to three charities: Action for Children, The Children’s Society and Barnardo’s. £6.5m of the funding has already been dispersed, with the remainder to follow by the end of October.</p><p>Together with other government departments, we are continuing to work closely with beneficiaries of the funding and other charities, to understand emerging issues and pressures in delivering services for vulnerable children and young people during this time.</p> answering member constituency Louth and Horncastle answering member printed Victoria Atkins question first answered 12/10/2020 15:32:24 answering member 4399 label Biography information for Victoria Atkins

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNCHR) will refer refugees most at risk to the ACRS, including women and girls as per their vulnerability criteria.</p><p>The Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) will continue to offer current or former locally employed staff who are assessed to be under serious threat to life priority relocation to the UK. During the first year the Government will offer ACRS places to the most at risk British Council and GardaWorld contractors, and Chevening alumni. These cohorts played a key role in supporting the UK mission in Afghanistan, and it is right that we honour our commitments to them.</p><p>In the first year of the ACRS the Government plans to exceed our initial aim to resettle 5,000 people. In addition to those already in the UK, we are working with the UNHCR to receive referrals of vulnerable refugees in need of protection in year 1 of the ACRS, and we will continue to receive referrals to the scheme in coming years.
