This can be broken down into the following groups in the attached table, which also shows the proportion against the total number of employees.</p><p>Regarding the proportion of apprentices employed at the Institute for Apprenticeships, this is a matter for the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. I have asked the Chief Executive, Sir Gerry Berragan, to write to the hon. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/07/2018 answer text <p>Apprentices are still paid by the official receiver if they continue to participate in learning and are actively seeking alternative employment with the support of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).</p><p>775 apprentices have successfully found new jobs with an employer who have agreed to continue supporting their apprenticeship to completion. The new employers are mainly small and medium-sized building contractors, which is consistent with the types of employer who recruit most of the apprentices in the construction sector.
