star this property answer text <p>The Department for Transport is currently in the process of building the Bus Open Data Digital Service. The Digital Service will enable bus operators to publish their data so that it can subsequently be used by application developers to create products to improve journey planning for bus passengers across England.</p><p>Live information is in scope to be included in the digital service. Alongside routes, timetable, and fares data, bus operators will be legally required to provide Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) data to the Bus Open Data Digital Service. Application Developers will be able to access this data to build applications, products and services for end users or passengers.</p><p>The provision of AVL data, which will be a legal requirement for operators by January 2021, will be an important step towards transforming journey planning for bus users through the use of live information.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government is committed to ensuring disabled people, including those with less visible disabilities such as autism, have the same access to transport and opportunities to travel as everyone else.</p><p>In July 2018 the Department published the Inclusive Transport Strategy. Its ambition is to create a transport system that provides equal access for disabled people by 2030, and to enable disabled people to travel confidently, easily and without extra cost.</p><p>The Department is making good progress delivering the many commitments set out in the Strategy, and will be reporting to Parliament on this in the summer.</p><p> </p> more like this
