	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2019 answer text <p>With additional teaching hours and a meaningful industry placement, we are confident that T levels will give students the knowledge and skills needed to get a skilled job, either immediately or after higher technical education (for example an appropriate level 4 apprenticeship where it is offered by an employer). The outline content for the Science T level has been developed by a panel of employers and other experts (including GlaxoSmithKline and the Royal Society of Chemistry), who have defined the skills needed to give students the best chance of progressing to a relevant job or higher level study, including a laboratory technician apprenticeship.</p><p>T levels in Science, Healthcare Science and Health will roll out from September 2021. Everyone with the capability to succeed should have  the opportunity to benefit from a university education, regardless of their background or where they grew up. On 1 February 2019, we announced measures to tackle ethnic disparities in higher education. The announcement is attached and can also be found at: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/news/universities-must-do-more-to-tackle-ethnic-disparity" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/news/universities-must-do-more-to-tackle-ethnic-disparity</a>.</p><p> </p><p>The new regulator for higher education, the Office for Students (OfS) has a statutory duty in regards to students who share particular characteristics, (protected under the Equality Act 2010), and where there is specific evidence that barriers exist that may prevent equality of opportunity, including those from the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.</p><p> </p><p>Through Access and Participation Plans agreed with the OfS, higher education providers are expected to reduce the gaps in access, success and progression for under-represented groups amongst their students.</p><p> </p><p>Eligible 16 to 19 year olds do not pay tuition fees for post-16 further education (e.g. A Levels and approved technical qualifications). This enables young people to meet the requirement of continuing to participate in education or training beyond the age of 16.</p><p> </p><p>Eligibility to receive public funding for further education for adults (those aged 19 and above), is based on age, prior attainment and a learner’s circumstances. Skills provision is prioritised and focussed towards young adults, those with low skills and unemployed people who are actively seeking work.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, the government also provides financial support to enable learners to participate in post-16 further education, whatever their financial situation. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2019 answer text <p>Where an operator fails to meet its requirements under the Licensing Conditions and Codes of Practice, the Gambling Commission can take regulatory action. Whilst the vast majority of issues are resolved without the use of formal powers, the Gambling Commission may, in the event of a serious breach, impose financial penalties or revoke an operator’s licence. Within the regulatory process, the Commission may also agree a regulatory settlement, whereby an operator agrees to makes a donation to a socially responsible cause.</p><p> </p><p>The table below shows the number of fines and regulatory settlements issued between 2010 and 2018. Together, these came to over £40 million. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2019 answer text <p>Whatever the outcome of negotiations, when the UK leaves the EU, owners of pet dogs, cats and ferrets will be able to continue to travel to the EU with their pets but there may be changes to the system.</p><p> </p><p>We want owners to continue to be able to travel with their animals with the minimum of disruption, whilst maintaining our high biosecurity and welfare standards. However, it’s our duty as a responsible Government to prepare for all eventualities, including a ‘no deal’ scenario.</p><p> </p><p>On 6 November 2018, Defra published guidance on <a href="https://www.gov.uk/guidance/pet-travel-to-europe-after-brexit" target="_blank">Pet Travel to Europe after Brexit</a> in preparation for the possibility of leaving the EU without a deal. Our contingency plans aim to ensure that the supply of epilepsy medicines and other essential medicines to patients is not disrupted in all European Union exit scenarios, including in the event of a ‘no deal’ exit.</p><p> </p><p>In August 2018, the Department wrote to all pharmaceutical companies that supply prescription-only and pharmacy medicines to the United Kingdom that come from, or via, the EU/European Economic Area asking them to ensure a minimum of six weeks’ additional supply in the UK, over and above existing business-as-usual buffer stocks, by 29 March 2019.</p><p> </p><p>On 7 December, the Government published updated reasonable worst-case scenario border disruption planning assumptions in the event of a ‘no deal’ EU exit.
