	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/09/2018 answer text <p>The Government has taken action to promote transparency and allow for scrutiny of public sector spending by recently publishing <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/public-sector-trade-union-facility-time-data" target="_blank">data</a> relating to the use of facility time across the public sector. Following the collection and analysis of this data over three years, reserve powers under the Trade Union Act 2016 will enable Ministers to implement regulations limiting the use and spend of facility time within relevant public sector employers. The number of GOV.UK Verify user accounts is published on the GOV.UK website and is regularly updated.</p><p> </p><p>We will continue to enable individuals to prove their identity online and to access government services securely and safely.
