star this property answer text <p>The Government has taken action to promote transparency and allow for scrutiny of public sector spending by recently publishing <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/public-sector-trade-union-facility-time-data" target="_blank">data</a> relating to the use of facility time across the public sector. Following the collection and analysis of this data over three years, reserve powers under the Trade Union Act 2016 will enable Ministers to implement regulations limiting the use and spend of facility time within relevant public sector employers. More information on these powers can be found <a href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2016/15/section/14/enacted" target="_blank">here</a>.</p> more like this
