<p>Full implementation of the new Customs Declaration Service is planned for January 2019. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) currently has a target of processing Economic Operator Registration Identification applications within 3 working days. However, HMRC expects the new service to process the majority of applications within a much shorter time period.</p>
