	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/07/2014 answer text <p>The latest annual workforce census data, published by the Health and Social Care Information Centre, provides information on the numbers of radiographers and radiologists working in the National Health Service in England as at 30 September each year. The numbers of full time equivalent radiographers and radiologists working in the NHS in England in each of the last five years are shown in the attached table. The latest available statistics are as at 30 September 2013 and were published on 25 March 2014.</p><p> </p><p>Radiographers and radiologists also work in the private and independent sectors but the numbers are not collected centrally. The Society of Radiographers may be able to supply more information on radiographers. Friend Phillip Dunne announced that the Minister for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans (Anna Soubry) would meet Gareth Thomas MP, the Association of British Credit Unions Ltd, and others to discuss this issue.<br><br>Arrangements for such a meeting have now been agreed and the Minister is due to meet with interested parties later this month. This covers total annual catches (all species) and the proportion of these caught below 600m, and vessels targeting deep sea species at depths greater than 600m. We have not carried out similar analysis related to depths greater than 800m or covering 2013.
