However, the devolution of corporation tax alone will not solve the financial challenges facing Northern Ireland. star this property answer text <p>The Department for Exiting the European Union is working closely with all departments to ensure our preparations for exit from, and new partnership with, the EU are on track. We have established a series of arrangements to coordinate departments’ planning and delivery. <br><br></p><p>As indicated in the National Audit Office report, departments have identified exit work streams that are used to structure engagement with DExEU. The structure and development of workstreams is part of ongoing cross-government work to develop and assess potential policy options. There are currently c.300 workstreams, but this number is updated regularly.</p> more like this

The Ombudsman’s report (para 504) published on 21 March 2024 estimated that providing compensation to all 1950s women at the level 4 range would cost between around £3.5 and £10.5bn.</p><p> </p><p>As a newly formed Government we will need time to review and consider the Ombudsman’s report along with the evidence provided during the investigation.</p><p> </p><p>Now the election has concluded we need to consider the views that have been expressed on all sides.</p><p> </p><p>The issues outlined in the report are significant and complex, as such they require serious deliberation. Once this work has been undertaken, the Government will be in a position to outline its approach.</p><p> </p><p>I met with representatives of the WAPSI Campaign on the 5 of September.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman’s report published on 21 March 2024 considers the communication to 1950s born women of the equalisation and increase of the State Pension age introduced by the Pensions Acts of 1995, 2007 and 2011. The Acts (collectively) increased the State Pension age for all women born after 5 April 1950. Based on current ONS figures it is estimated that there are around 3.5 million women who saw an increase in their State Pension age and were born in the 1950s.</p> more like this
