It made a series of recommendations designed to support transformation of the NHS estate. The Review did not identify surplus land, nor recommend the sale of specific sites. It is for NHS land owners to determine which are surplus to requirements and to make them available for disposal. NHS land owners contribute to sustainability and transformation partnerships (STP) estates strategies which consider the nature of the estate that is required across an STP to deliver clinical strategy and meet patient needs.</p><p>The NHS Surplus Land Annual Data Collection collects data on land owned by NHS trusts and foundation trusts which has been declared surplus and planned for future disposal. Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust reported only one planned disposal in the 2017-18 collection. This data is available at the following link:</p><p><a href="https://digital.nhs.uk/data-and-information/publications/statistical/nhs-surplus-land/2017-18-england" target="_blank">https://digital.nhs.uk/data-and-information/publications/statistical/nhs-surplus-land/2017-18-england</a></p><p>The planned disposal related to vacant land on the Clatterbridge Hospital site. The land was disposed via statutory transfer to Homes England in March 2018. The sales proceeds, as reported in the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts, were £4.4 million. In the 2017-18 data collection it was estimated that the site could deliver 95 homes. Six trusts<sup>1 </sup>with challenged Emergency Departments routinely reporting ambulance-hospital handover delays are engaging with North West Ambulance Service as part of an initial 90-day improvement programme, which has now been extended further. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/02/2019 answer text <p>The supply of food and specialised nutritional products, particularly those provided to patients and those in care, is being addressed as part of the Department’s preparedness planning for the continuity of supply and service delivery post-European Union Exit. The Department has been working in collaboration with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.</p><p>The majority of food supplied to the health and social care sector in the United Kingdom is sourced from the UK. There are certain products that are routinely sourced from other EU countries, although alternative sources and suitable substitutes exist for these foodstuffs.</p><p>Specialist nutritional products are an important part of patient care throughout the health and social care sector. In recognition of this we have made this a specific area of focus within our preparedness arrangements. Proposals include the introduction of an Urgent Treatment Centre at Arrowe Park Hospital and more general practitioner extended access appointments across Wirral. This would replace walk in centre facilities located at the CCG’s current urgent care venues, but does not mean that these locations would close as they may deliver other services.
