	answer	answer answer text <p>My Rt hon Friend the Member for Bromsgrove (Sajid Javid) visited Redcar on 2 October 2015 following the announcement of the liquidation of Sahaviriya Steel Industries UK (SSI).</p><p> </p><p>The then Secretary of State announced a support package worth up to £80 million for former employees affected by the closure. He was accompanied by the then Minister for Small Businesses, Industry and Enterprise, Anna Soubry.</p><p> </p><p>The Minister for Small Businesses, Industry and Enterprise then attended the Redcar taskforce on 21 March 2016.</p><p> </p><p>In his previous role as Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, my Rt hon Friend met the Mayor and Leaders of the five Tees Valley authorities on the following dates: 15 July 2015 (a joint meeting with James Wharton), 23 March 2016, 7 June 2016 (to launch Lord Heseltine’s report <em>Tees Valley: opportunity unlimited</em>) and 12 July 2016. These were regular catch-up meetings, which took place in Westminster.</p><p> </p>

	answer	answer answer text <p>Blacklisting is an unacceptable practice. The Government has to date, seen no evidence of this practice recurring since the introduction of the Blacklists Regulations in 2010. However, we understand the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is currently investigating some allegations of blacklisting.</p><p> </p><p>We will be paying close attention to the outcome of these investigations, and once they are known we will consider whether any further action needs to be taken as a result.</p><p> </p><p>Individuals who believe they have new evidence of blacklisting should provide this to the ICO so that it can decide whether there are grounds for an investigation using their powers under the Data Protection Act.</p><p> </p>

This information has been extracted from the live database, which is being continually updated and it is subject to change. The number above is therefore a snapshot of the register.</p><p> </p><p>Since 30 June, companies have been required to provide information on their PSCs to Companies House on incorporation or as their Confirmation Statement (formerly the annual return) becomes due. The register will therefore build up over time and be complete from 29 June 2017.</p><p> </p>

	answer	answer answer text <p><del class="ministerial">60 employers responded to the National Minimum Wage campaign announced by HM Revenue and Customs on 29 July 2015. Between them, these employers voluntarily disclosed arrears of £786,038 owed to 4869 workers.</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">In 2015/16 819 employers were issued with a Notice of Underpayment (NoU), and of this number, 814 were issued with a penalty. The combined penalties issued to these employers totalled £1,780,367.</ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">5 employers were issued with an NoU but no penalty because they had either gone into liquidation or had otherwise ceased trading, or because an Employment Tribunal had issued a judgment that no financial penalty should be imposed. Collectively these employers owed £57,603 to 30 workers. </ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">A further 145 employers found to have underpaid their workers were not issued with a NoU or a penalty. Collectively these employers owed £2,065,874 to 14,055 workers.</ins></p>
