unstar this property answer text <p>The Treasury Solicitor’s Department holds records relating only to those cases in which it has acted. The Treasury Solicitor represents most, but not all, government departments in litigation. For example, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs normally conducts its own litigation. According to records held by the Treasury Solicitor, the number of judicial reviews involving government departments in which it has acted in each of the last four years is as follows:</p><p>2010 – 8,566</p><p>2011 – 9,603</p><p>2012 – 10,274</p><p>2013 – 16,449</p><p>Information relating to how many of those reviews were upheld in whole or in part in each year is not held centrally and could not be created without incurring disproportionate cost.</p><p><del class="ministerial">The Administrative Court Office does not collate the information requested centrally and determining the number of reviews and how many such reviews were upheld in whole or in part would incur a disproportionate cost.</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">The information requested in respect of the Administrative Court Office is published online at <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/267408/additional-court-tables-2012.xls" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/267408/additional-court-tables-2012.xls</a> . unstar this property answer text <p>The Airports National Policy Statement (NPS) was designated on 26 <del class="ministerial">July</del> <ins class="ministerial">June</ins> 2018, paving the way for a development consent application. As part of the development of the Airports NPS, an Appraisal of Sustainability was undertaken which included analysis of surface impacts for all three options shortlisted by the Airports Commission.</p><p> </p><p>As part of the surface access requirements in the Airports NPS, the Government has specified that any applicant for development consent must submit a surface access strategy as part of their application.</p><p> </p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>The UK has repeatedly made clear to Israel our longstanding concerns about the manner in which the Israel Defence Forces police non-violent protests and the border areas, including use of live ammunition. We will continue to do so.<del class="ministerial"> The UK supports an investigation which establishes the facts about the violence that occurred during the Great March of Return in Gaza. Given the importance of accountability, we urge that any investigation be independent and transparent, that its findings be made public, and, if wrongdoing is found, that those responsible be held to account. unstar this property answer text <p>In September 2013, there were 21 practices registered in <ins class="ministerial">Hammersmith</ins><del class="ministerial">Barking</del> and 20 practices are registered in October 2022.</p><p>Practices close for a variety of reasons, including practice mergers or retirement and a reduction in practice numbers does not represent a reduction in the quality of care. When a practice does close, patients are informed and advised to register at another local practice of their choice. Practices and commissioners must put in place appropriate measures to ensure that the affected patients have access to general practitioner services.</p> more like this

This includes <ins class="ministerial">an estimated </ins>£1.56m resource<ins class="ministerial"> spend</ins> (mainly expenditure on staff pay and procurement) and <ins class="ministerial">an estimated </ins>£4.32m capital <ins class="ministerial">spend </ins>(mainly design fees and site preparation costs). <ins class="ministerial">These figures are subject to review by the National Audit Office in January 2016.</ins></p><br /><p>All services were procured through a competitive process and assessed as providing value for money to the department. The design work produced for the pathfinder could be used or adapted for alternative provision, and the prepared site at Glen Parva could be used for a range of developments.</p> more like this

For the purpose of this answer only full financial years have been provided.</p><p> </p><p><del class="ministerial">Analysis of the data for 2014/15 captured in the “other category” is currently underway to establish which items are or could be deemed as weapons, as the currently centrally held data represents a “catch all” and therefore may be misleading. I will write to the Hon. Member as soon as possible to provide clarity on that category.</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">The increase in the number of weapons taken from people as they enter Crown Courts between 2012/13 and 2014/15 may be due to the implementation of more robust training for Court Security Officers; improved rates of recording for the taking of such items and improved searching of people entering Crown Courts.</ins></p>

unstar this property answer text <p>Any violence in prison is unacceptable - especially when it is directed at our hardworking staff.</p><p>We have a zero tolerance approach to violence and work closely with the police on this issue. Those who are violent could face extra time behind bars.
