Any Member of Parliament is able to request for the Export Hub to visit their constituency.</p><p>The logistics for managing the Export Hub is contracted through an external company.</p><p>Many cross-party MPs have spoken highly of the work of the Export Hub at the Department for International Trade’s (DIT) Monthly MPs Briefings which the DIT Ministerial team hosts.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>In March this year my Rt Hon Friend the Secretary of State for International Trade hosted the inaugural Commonwealth Trade Ministers Meeting in London – bringing together politicians, officials and policy makers from over 20 commonwealth nations.</p><p>In addition, he will be hosting a commonwealth reception as part of this year’s WTO Ministerial Meeting in Buenos Aires.</p><p>As the host of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in April 2018, and the Chair of the Commonwealth from April 2018-2020, HMG is committed to highlighting the value of and increasing intra-Commonwealth trade. During GHOGM, businesses from across the Commonwealth will meet in a three-day Commonwealth Business Forum that will see a diverse range of sectors represented. This event will help us to promote our vision for a Global Britain as well as to celebrate and grow intra-Commonwealth trade.</p> more like this

The UK will seek to agree a time-limited implementation period with the EU, during which access to one another’s markets should continue on current terms. This would help to minimise unnecessary disruption and provide certainty for businesses and individuals in the UK and the EU.</p><p>The UK will look to secure greater access to overseas markets for UK goods exports after leaving the EU as well as push for greater liberalisation of global services, investment and procurement markets.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>In order to replicate as far as possible current obligations under the WTO as we leave the European Union, the Government is preparing full UK-specific schedules under the GATT (General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade – goods) and the GATS (General Agreement on Trade in Services – services). The Government is also preparing a UK-specific Annex on Article II (Most-Favoured-Nation Treatment) exemptions under the GATS. The Government plans to submit these schedules and list of exemptions to the WTO ahead of the UK’s leaving the EU, and to assert them after leaving the EU.</p> more like this
