This will ensure that, wherever possible, the same rules and laws will apply the day after exit as they did before.</p><p>The Government is still making a detailed assessment of what corrections will be required to make that law function appropriately on exit day. The Equality Act 2010 makes it unlawful to discriminate against employees and people seeking work because of their race.</p><p> </p><p>The Government’s Ethnicity Facts and Figures website and Business in the Community’s 2018 Race at Work Survey highlight that people from ethnic minorities still encounter disparities in recruitment and progression. In October 2018 the Prime Minister announced a package of measures to make the workplace fairer for people from ethnic minorities, including a Race at Work Charter and a consultation on mandatory ethnicity pay reporting. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/05/2019 answer text <p>The UK does not have a gas interconnector to France so there will be no impact on gas flows.</p><p> </p><p>In the event that the UK leaves the EU with a deal, the arrangements that govern electricity trading with France will be a matter for negotiations.</p><p> </p><p>In the event that the UK leaves the EU without a deal, we do not expect there to be any fundamental barriers to the UK’s ability to receive electricity flows from France.
