star this property answer text <p>The UK supports the G7 Climate Risk Insurance Initiative and is committed to contributing to meeting the collective target set out in the Elmau declaration of helping up to an additional 400 million people in the most vulnerable developing countries to gain access to climate risk insurance by 2020.</p><br /><p>UK support under the Initiative includes contributions to the African Risk Capacity and the Pacific Catastrophe Risk Assessment and Financing Initiative. In September the Prime Minister announced that the UK would provide at least £5.8 billion of climate finance over the next five years which will include support for climate risk insurance.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The United Kingdom remains fully committed to global polio eradication and has pledged £300 million to support the Global Polio Eradication Initiative for 2013 to 2019. Of the £300 million, £270 million is directed to the World Health Organisation, which hosts the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. £30 million is allocated to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, to support its role in the global introduction of the Inactivated Polio Vaccine, a key step in the path to eradication.</p><p>As the third largest contributor towards global polio eradication, UK support has played a crucial role in the more than 99% decrease in polio cases since the launch of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative in 1988.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The emergency services mobile communications programme (ESMCP) will provide the next generation communication system for the 3 emergency ser-vices (police, fire and rescue, and ambulance) and other public safety users. This system will be called the emergency services network (ESN). ESN will provide the next generation integrated critical voice and broadband data ser-vices for the 3 emergency services. In addition to the 3 emergency services, over 300 other organisations, including British Transport Police, are active us-ers of the current emergency communication service. star this property answer text <p>Investigations, including those into allegations of police wrongdoing and any decisions in relation to the bringing of disciplinary proceedings, are operational matters for police forces and are carried out independently of Government.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is not routinely informed of the progress of ongoing investigations including any decisions related to disciplinary proceedings.</p><p> </p><p>The Home Secretary and the Metropolitan Police Commissioner meet regularly to discuss a wide range of issues. As part of its terms of reference, the Undercover Policing Inquiry is investigating the state of awareness of undercover police operations of Her Majesty’s Government since 1968.</p><p> </p><p>The Home Office is a core participant in that Inquiry and is in the process of making disclosure to the Inquiry of material relevant to the terms of reference. The Inquiry will report on its findings once all evidence has been reviewed.</p> more like this

Overall fire and rescue authorities will receive around £2.3 billion in 2018/19.</p><p>Single purpose fire and rescue authorities will see an increase in core spending power of 1.2% in cash terms in 2018/19, and an overall increase of 0.3% from 2015/16 to 2019/20.
