We are committed to helping parents into work.</p><p> </p><p>To overcome this barrier to employment, Universal Credit claimants are able to claim up to 85 per cent of their childcare costs, compared to 70% on the legacy system. This can be claimed up to a month before starting a job, and can be worth up to £13,000 a year for families with two children.</p><p> </p><p>Over the last few months we have been trialling a more flexible approach to parents who do not report their childcare costs on time. Since the European Social Charter came into force in the UK we have introduced a number of policy and legislative reforms that provide equivalent or greater protections for individuals in the field of equal pay.</p><p> </p><p>We have also ratified a number of international conventions which provide equivalent protections and which the UK has implemented via national legislation.</p><p> </p><p>We are fully committed to the Equal Pay protections in the Equality Act 2010. In 2014, we introduced equal pay audits for when employers are found to have breached equal pay law and in 2017 we introduced gender pay gap reporting.</p><p> </p><p>Our equal pay legislation complies with EU requirements, which are reflected in Article 4.3 of the European Social Charter. Over the first three years, in total the scheme has approved grants worth approximately £1.5 million with 63 to churches, 49 to mosques, 5 to Hindu temples and 17 to Gurdwaras.</p><p><br>We continuously listen to feedback to make the scheme as effective as possible, and places of worship which successfully bid for funding have described feeling an increased sense of safety. As part of our ongoing assessment of the success of the scheme, we monitor the scheme’s application rates and other related management information, seek regular feedback from faith communities and security experts, and undertake site visits at places of worship which have received funding. We have also heard that some places of worship found it cumbersome to gather multiple quotes for all measures, which is why we have removed the requirement under the 2019-20 scheme.</p><p><br>More widely, the Home Secretary has committed to consulting with faith communities to understand what more could and should be done to help protect faith communities at their places of worship. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/05/2019 answer text <p>The NHS Cancer Programme is committed to improving early diagnosis as outlined in the Long Term Plan ambition to diagnose three-quarters of all cancers at stages 1 and 2 by 2028. This includes all stageable cancers.</p><p>To achieve this ambition, the NHS Cancer Programme is working on a number of programmes to improve early diagnosis rates for all cancers. The Rapid Diagnostic Centres (RDCs) are a new flagship policy in the Long Term Plan that offer patients a range of tests in the same day with rapid access to results. These RDCs starting to be rolled out in 2019/20 and will support the overall early diagnosis ambition. The RDCs will upgrade and bring together the latest diagnostic equipment and expertise, building on 10 models piloted with Cancer Research UK, which have focused on diagnosing cancers where patients often present with non-specific symptoms, often the case with ovarian cancer, and may go to their general practitioner many times before being sent for tests, such as blood and stomach cancers.</p><p> </p><p>A new cancer diagnosis standard, designed to ensure that patients find out within 28 days if they have cancer, will be introduced in 2020.
