unstar this property answer text <p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy provides core funding to Citizens Advice, the umbrella body for the local Citizens Advice service in England and Wales. That core funding allows for the provision of essential central services to the network including IT, information, training and the recruitment of volunteers and the auditing of bureaux to ensure they retain their capability and capacity to deliver.</p><p> </p><p>Central Government does not fund individual Citizens Advice offices (formerly referred to as bureaux) who receive funding from a variety of public, charity and private sources, with core funding typically provided by the Local Authority in which they are located.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

Bankruptcy applies to individuals only; regional breakdowns for the number of company insolvencies are not currently available.</p><p>The Insolvency Service compiles its regional bankruptcy order statistics on a calendar year basis, therefore financial year totals are not available. unstar this property answer text <p>I have been asked to reply on behalf of the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.</p><p>Ofcom, as the UK’s independent communications regulator, is currently reviewing the market for standalone telephone line-only customers. Due to its concerns about competition for those who only have a telephone line, it proposed a price cut of £5 - £7 a month for these customers when it consulted in February 2017. Ofcom’s review is designed to ensure that customers with these kind of lines receive better value for money than at present when using their telephone service. Ofcom will set out the changes needed to protect this group of customers later this year.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>In 2016/17 the British Film Institute (BFI), as the Government’s lead agency for film, invested £57,000 in York and £172,800 in North Yorkshire to support a range of film-related activities and projects, including the BFI Neighbourhood Cinema Programme, the Yorkshire Film Archive, and business support through the BFI Vision Awards. In addition, the BFI has worked extensively with Screen Yorkshire and its partners to develop the area as a creative cluster with seed funding totalling £254,000. In addition, Screen Yorkshire’s £28.8m Yorkshire Content Fund, a public-private investment fund for the screen and digital sectors, has, since 2012, been open to producers either based in Yorkshire or wishing to film or establish a base in the region.</p> more like this
