These issues have included the future ownership of Euratom safeguards equipment, the ownership of special fissile materials, and the legal responsibility for spent fuel and radioactive waste. We and our colleagues across Government have regularly raised this issue directly with the US to make our objections clear. We remain in regular contact with the EU and the US Administration to try to reach a positive outcome.
